Nowadays, sustainability is one of the key elements which should be considered in energy systems. Such systems are essential any manufacturing system to supply requirements those To optimize consumption system, various applications have been developed literature, with a number pros and cons. In addition, majority such applications, multi-objective optimization (MOO) plays an outstanding role. related studies, MOO strategy has mainly used maximize performance minimize total cost trigeneration HCCI (homogeneous charge compression ignition) engine as prime mover based on NSGA-II (non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II) algorithm. The current study introduces novel multi-heuristic (MHS) that serves metaheuristics cooperation platform for selecting best design parameters. MHS operates proposed prefers short runs single long run metaheuristic. consists four collaborating work common population solutions. aims exergy efficiency cost. By utilizing local archives global archive, optimizes these two objective functions. idea behind will able compensate each other’s shortcomings terms extracting most promising regions search space. Comparing findings shows implementing suggested decreases unit costs products 25.85 USD/GJ, where base was 28.89 increased up 39.37%, while this 22.81% system. finding illustrates significant improvements results proves high method.
